ULTRASOUND AND TECAR THERAPY

Ultrasound Therapy is mainly used to improve the healing rate of certain soft tissues by increasing blood flow to an area in order to accelerate the resolution time of the inflammatory process. This stimulates the production of collagen (the main protein in tendons and ligaments) during tissue healing.

Tecar therapy is more modern version of ultrasound which stimulates the energy within biological tissues, activating the body’s natural repair and anti-inflammatory processes - Our therapist who operates Tecar Therapy now operates out of a Bristol clinic called HappyBack.
