We have another ex world class athlete joining the Hands On Team, this time none other than Bruce Dowling, the jump jockey who holds the record for the most races ridden at 1 meeting, 9 consecutively at Wolverhampton in 1991. He was looked after by a brilliant team of soft tissue specialists, who worked synergistically to keep him in one piece, and as pain free as possible. Or as Bruce says:

“During my ten years as an elite athlete, I was aware of the importance of healing, maintaining and protecting my body from the rigours of a brutal sport. On my retirement, I trained as a sports massage therapist at the highest level, alleviating pain in patients suffering from work related, age related and sports specific conditions.

”My 15 years of practice have enabled me to treat all types of musculoskeletal pain. This with my PT work and experience means I can advise on proactive programs designed to maintain flexibility, mobility, bone density and muscularity.
