Strong personal and professional knowledge of gym training, equipment use, and exercise etiquette. Approachable, motivated, and passionate about health, fitness, and helping others achieve their wellbeing goals.
A bit more about Oscar in his own words:
“I have long been interested in movement, the body, and the subtle ways in which touch can influence how we feel and function. This curiosity began in my teenage years through practicing Tai Chi, which first introduced me to the connection between movement, awareness, and health. That experience led me to explore Traditional Chinese Medicine, where I completed a professional diploma in Shiatsu.
From there, I continued to follow an interest in hands-on therapies, working as a massage therapist with a focus on deep tissue work. Over time, this developed into a broader curiosity about how the body adapts, compensates, and responds to both physical and non-physical influences.
This interest led me to undertake a four-year Integrated Master’s degree in Osteopathy, where I began to explore pain, movement, and biomechanics in more depth. Alongside this, a long-standing appreciation for the animal world led me to complete a postgraduate certificate in Animal Osteopathy, which offered a different perspective on movement and function.
More recently, I have been drawn to further study and am currently undertaking an MSc in Physiotherapy. I remain particularly interested in how pain is experienced, how movement can be adapted, and how beliefs, habits, and lifestyle can shape recovery.
Outside of my clinical work, I enjoy spending time outdoors. Climbing, camping, and free diving are all important to me, and continue to shape my appreciation for movement, environment, and the capabilities of the body.”
